Gwen Mdinaradze
President & CEO, Speakers Alliance Canada
Doctoral Student, University of Pennsylvania
Master's Degree, Harvard University

Speakers Alliance Canada was founded by Gwen Mdinaradze with a simple but powerful goal: to make workplaces more human, thoughtful, and effective. As an experienced leader, educator, and scholar-practitioner, Gwen saw a gap between traditional corporate training and the deeper organizational change that’s truly needed. She created SAC to bridge that gap—combining evidence-based learning with real-world leadership strategies.

Gwen developed a rigorous selection framework to ensure that only the most qualified consultants and trainers join the Speakers Alliance Canada. The process is highly selective and SAC team members are scholar-practitioners who teach at institutions such as Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania, or who hold distinguished designations such as Certified Public Speaker or National Speakers Hall of Fame status.

This unique blend of academic depth and practical impact ensures that every SAC engagement is led by individuals who bring both credibility and real-world insight—translating knowledge into measurable change.

What makes SAC different is our focus on people first. We don’t just deliver content—we help organizations create environments where employees feel seen, heard, and empowered. Our work is rooted in research, but always driven by impact. We believe leadership development should go beyond theory and help shape culture in lasting ways.

At SAC, we use evidence-based methods to guide every engagement. Our process begins with psychometric assessments to understand an organization’s unique needs and challenges. This data helps us determine the most effective strategic or learning and development approach—whether it’s a targeted keynote, immersive training, or a full-scale organizational policy redesign.

We also apply a case-based learning model, allowing leaders to engage with real-world scenarios that promote deeper understanding and long-term retention. This approach helps translate insights into action, making leadership development more relevant, memorable, and impactful.

Gwen’s academic background includes a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Behaviour from Harvard University, as well as ongoing doctoral studies in an executive program at the University of Pennsylvania. Her work focuses on the science of leadership development, with an emphasis on psychological safety, positive organizational culture, and mindfulness-based leadership.

She studies how leaders can create spaces where people feel safe to speak up, take risks, and collaborate openly. Her research also explores how mindful leadership helps reduce stress, improve decision-making, and strengthen emotional intelligence in the workplace. Ultimately, her goal is to support leaders in building values-driven cultures where both people and performance can thrive.
